Sounds like NBC was listening to us!

Last month, we learned that NBC had picked up Roseanne''s "comeback comedy" pilot called Downwardly Mobile, which revolves around "the proprietor of a mobile home park and surrogate mother to all of the people who live there during a challenging economic time."

At the time, we said the following about the show:

"Throw in John Goodman and a few white trash jokes and it''s the 90s all over again!"

Sure enough, we''ve JUST learned that NBC is currently in final negotiations with John Goodman to join his Roseanne co-star''s new show!

Here''s how John''s role is being described:

"Goodman will play a man who works at the park and has a buddy relationship with Barr’s character."

Should be fun to see these two together again! We''ll be sure to check it out!
