Teen Choice Awards 2013: The Complete Nominations

It’s that time again when surfboards become trophies as this year’s Teen Choice Awards nominations have been announced.

For the 2013 ceremony, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 2 leads the pack with a total of seven nods, including recognition for its stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner.

Closely trailing behind the vampire flick is Iron Man 3, which raked up six nominations in both movie and acting categories.

Like always, Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are also up for surfboards in the music categories.

The 2013 Teen Choice Awards will air Aug. 11 on FOX, while teens can start practicing their democratic rights and vote once a day on the official website.

A ‘Pride and Prejudice and Zombies’ Movie Is Still Happening

File this one under a win for the zombies.

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, the uber-popular novel by Seth Grahame Smith that put a deadly twist on the Jane Austin classic, is getting another shot at the big screen — this time, with Lily Collins (aka the actress who once dated Taylor Lautner) in the lead.

Burr Steers will spearhead the project, writes Variety, taking over from a longlist that included names like David O. Russell, Mike White and Craig Gillespie.

Natalie Portman was previously set to star but left the project — kind of like how everyone is now leaving that weird-sounding Jane Got a Gun movie.

Incidentally, it was reported on Wednesday that Portman will star opposite Michael Fassbender in a new adaptation of Macbeth.

So, it’s a win-win for everyone this morning.

Taylor Lautner rocks a chubby suit as he poses for a picture with his award at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards held at Sony Pictures Studios on Sunday (April 14) in Los Angeles.

The 21-year-old Twilight star took home the prize for Best Shirtless Performance – and accepted his award holding a soda and dropping candy on the ground.

“Thank you, everyone. I’m just going to be real honest with you guys. I turned 21 recently. I’ve been drinking a little bit, eating a little bit, a little too much drinking, probably,” Taylor joked during his speech.

Congrats on the award, Taylor!

It’s the frat boys versus the grown ups in the trailer for the upcoming comedy flick Grown Ups 2!

Adam Sandler, David Spade, Kevin James, and Chris Rock go head to head with frat boys Taylor Lautner, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Milo Ventimiglia, and Jimmy Tatro while trying to claim ownership of a cliff.

In the sequel, Lenny (Sandler) has relocated his family back to the small town where he and his friends grew up. This time around, the grown ups are the ones learning lessons from their kids on a day notoriously full of surprises: the last day of school.

Taylor Lautner & Victoria Justice: Seacrest Studios Launch

They’re both huge stars in their own right, and earlier today (March 22) Taylor Lautner and Victoria Justice lent their celebrity clout to the launch of the Ryan Seacrest Foundation’s Seacrest Studios in Los Angeles.

The “Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2” hunk looked handsome as he hammed it up with his fellow attendees while the shutterbugs snapped up pics.

Meanwhile, Miss “Victorious” also posed for the cameras and enjoyed the exciting soiree while mingling with some of the kiddos at the CHOC Children’s Hospital.

Additionally, Miley Cyrus also showed up to get in on all the action and showed some love to the patients she met.

The Ryan Seacrest Foundation’s Seacrest Studios is located at the hospital and includes a new multimedia broadcast center.
