Johnny Depp Shoots "Transcendence" in L.A.

Taking a break between scenes, Johnny Depp enjoyed a hot beverage on the set of "Transcendence" in Los Angeles on Saturday (May 11).

The "Lone Ranger" star wore a dark sweater, black blazer, and gray pants with his shades as he headed out in the sunny streets.

In the sci-fi flick, two leading computer scientists work toward their goal of Technological Singularity, as a radical anti-technology organization fights to prevent them from creating a world where computers can transcend the abilities of the human brain.

Directed by Wally Pfister, the film also stars Rebecca Hall, Morgan Freeman, Paul Bettany, Kate Mara, and Cillian Murphy.

New “Iron Man 3” Trailer: Watch Here!

It’s one of the most anticipated movies of the year, and “Iron Man 3” has just released a new teaser trailer for all to see.

The Walt Disney/Marvel project is slated to hit theaters on May 3rd and features the likes of Robert Downey Jr, Guy Pearce, Gwyneth Paltrow, Rebecca Hall, Ben Kingsley, Paul Bettany, and Don Cheadle.

Per the synopsis, “Tony Stark uses his ingenuity to fight those who destroyed his private world and soon goes up against his most powerful enemy yet: the Mandarin.”

Of the flick, Downey told press, “I was kinda looking forward to it. I don''t want to say ‘kinda.’ That''s tepid. You know that thing of it''s spring break or summer or winter and you have these plans? You want to go to Sedona, right? So push that peanut down the road a little bit. This is, to me, the kind of grab bag wish list of things we''ve always wanted to do and haven''t had the chance.”

“I put so much onus on ‘Iron Man 3.’ ‘Iron Man 3’ was supposed to answer all the questions for an audience. Cure all my uncomfortable moments in the past playing this character and get in every idea that fell by the wayside the last three movies. Then we shot the movie and I feel like there''s still a number of other things we have to do.”

Now the question is, will there be a fourth “Iron Man” movie?!

Here are some new photos of Jennifer Connelly and Paul Bettany arriving in Nice, France, probably for the Cannes Film Festival. Yes, that’s their youngest child, daughter Agnes, in Jennifer’s arms. How cute is 11-month-old baby Agnes? I love that the baby got Paul’s coloring. Not that Jennifer has bad coloring at all – I love her dark hair and light eyes. But I just think it’s cute that both of Paul and Jennifer’s kids – Agnes and Stellan look more like him. They make beautiful babies. *sigh*

Over the past week, I’ve been seeing stories about Jennifer, but I never really stopped to see what she’s promoting. It’s a movie called Virginia, and I think it’s probably going to screen at the Cannes Film Festival. The film screened in NYC a few days ago too, and Page Six spoke to Paul about his wife’s role – as a blonde! Paul said, “I thought it was remarkable… Somehow I thought it really suited her. I’ve never seen her as a blonde.” But when Paul was asked if he would like Jennifer to keep the look, he just said: “I married a brunette.” Aw… he loves her dark hair. Sexy.

Jennifer was also on Anderson Cooper’s daytime show recently, and she spoke about her family:

Age may just be a number, but for Jennifer Connelly it’s been the secret to her family’s success.

“I’ve got a massive family now. It’s really unbelievable. They are all such extraordinary kids and they’re great together,” the actress, 41, tells Anderson in an interview airing Tuesday.

“They never fight, they look after each other. They are loving.”

Connelly, who is mom to sons Kai, 14, and Stellan, 8, and daughter Agnes Lark, 11 months, attributes the brood’s bliss to her and husband Paul Bettany‘s ability to spread the love.

“I am just blessed they are such great, really wonderful kids,” she raves. “Maybe it has something to do with the huge age gap between them, there is no competition and they all have so much attention and focus.”

However, despite the synchronization among the siblings, Connelly admits she won’t be expanding their family any further.

“I think we should call it quits,” she says. “It’s like trying to move an army getting out of the house and we go everywhere together, so it’s a lot of bodies to move.”

I’ve heard Jennifer talk about motherhood and her family before, and it really seems like she and Paul are really… what’s the word? Like, they’re organized and focused on their family, and you can tell that their marriage and their children are always their first priorities. Paul has backed out of several films and projects over the past few years because he wanted to spend more time with his family, and Jennifer is really into the whole “Earth mother” thing. I really do love this family.

Paul Bettany: On Set for 'Blood'!

Paul Bettany gets into character while on set for his new movie Blood on Saturday (February 25) in Liverpool, England.

The 40-year-old English actor plays Joe, one of the main characters in the thriller. The movie follows the moral collapse of a police family. Two cop brothers, smothered by the shadow of their former police chief father, must investigate a crime they themselves have committed.

Paul most recently worked on the sci-fi flick Priest and Margin Call with Zachary Quinto, Kevin Spacey, and Penn Badgley.

Blood is set to be released sometime in 2013.

Paul Bettany with tinted glasses, a neckerchief & bad hair: would you still hit it?

These are some photos from the UK premiere of Margin Call, that movie about the stock market crash which was DOA in American theaters. As such, only a handful of the film’s stars actually made it to London for the premiere. Basically, it was just Jeremy Irons and Paul Bettany, both of whom seem to be competing for The Fancy-Pants Prize.

I mean… I love Paul. I love his voice, his accent, I love his blonde-ginger (strawberry blonde?) hair, I love that he’s so epically tall that he walks with a slight stoop. I don’t mind that he’s pasty, and I don’t mind that he takes more fashion “risks” than most heterosexual men. But I’m not sure if I can get on board with this look. You know what’s bothering me the most? Everything above the neckerchief/scarf (although the scarf is whole other topic of conversation). Is his hairline receding? Or is it just bad lighting? And WHY with the tinted glasses? And why do the stubble when it’s obvious that he’s carefully planned this VESTY ensemble? Just shave. But… I don’t mind the tweed. And Paul is reminding me of someone… like, Hugh Hefner, circa 1961? That’s not right though – like some kind of dated figure from the 1950s who owns a huge mansion and a well-stocked bunker AND he has multiple girlfriends. Like… a Bond villain…? I feel like he’s in costume. Which is fine. He’s still a lovely man, and I would still hit it.

And here’s Jeremy Irons, also looking scarfy and grizzled. That’s his wife, Sinead Cusack, by his side. Poor Sinead. I haven’t been able to look at Jeremy the same way ever since this story about his “open” marriage and his handsy, groping, sexual-harassing ways.
