Putting her most famous assets to good use, Sofia Vergara shows off her guns in a brand new poster for “Machete Kills.”

The “Modern Family” star dons a bustier equipped with two high-powered fire arms in the image, revealing the power behind her character Desdemona.

Meanwhile, the Robert Rodriguez-directed flick also stars Danny Trejo, Michelle Rodriguez, Amber Heard, Charlie Sheen, Lady Gaga, Antonio Banderas, Jessica Alba, Demián Bichir, Alexa Vega, Vanessa Hudgens, Cuba Gooding, Jr., William Sadler, Marko Zaror and Mel Gibson.

In the powerful action film, Trejo’s character returns as ex-Federale agent Machete, who is recruited by the president to perform a nearly impossible mission. Catch “Machete Kills” in theaters on September 15.

Gerard Butler takes the day by storm as he heads out and about on Tuesday morning (February 5) in Miami, Fla.

The 43-year-old actor has been in sunny Florida for several days now, and reportedly hung out with some celeb pals last week.

Gerard, Leonardo DiCaprio, Bradley Cooper, Jonah Hill, and Mel Gibson all stepped out together at Story night club in Miami this past Friday, according to the New York Post.

It’s time for one of my rare pro-Jennifer Aniston stories. I know sometimes it seems like Aniston can never do anything right in my eyes, but that’s a damn lie! I like/appreciate her sometimes. Occasionally. And sometimes one of the tabloids will have an Aniston story that actually elicits genuine sympathy or an Atta-girl. This is one of those times. Star Magazine claims that Jennifer’s friend and long-time body double Ashley Cusato is dating Mel Gibson. Which is true – Ashley and Mel went public in October, and multiple outlets reported on the new couple. Ashley is 38 years old, and you can see her IMDB here. Aniston, according to Star, is all “GIRL, NOOOOOoo.”

From racist rants to violent outbursts, there’s no shortage of reasons to steer clear of Mel Gibson. But Jennifer Aniston’s pal and body double Ashley Cusato is getting a stern reminder from her A-list friend.

“Jen respects Mel as an actor, but he’s not the type of guy she’d want her friends to date – he’s a heartbreaker,” stated an insider, adding that Jen was stunned when Ashley broke the news that she’s been dating Mel for the past month. “Ashley insisted that he’ll be different with her, but Jen didn’t buy it.”

Reminding her friend that cheating men don’t usually change their way, Jen also underscored Mel’s temper tantrums.

“Jen wants to be supportive, but she fears it won’t be long before Ashley is crying on her shoulder.”

Let me fix a few things. One, “he’s not the type of guy she’d want her friends to date – he’s a heartbreaker drunk, racist, anti-Semitic woman-beater.” Two, “she fears it won’t be long before Ashley is crying on her shoulder… because Mel threatened to choke her to death and bury her in his backyard.” I mean, of course no good girlfriend would be jazzed about her friend dating Mel Gibson. But I dislike the reasons given for WHY Aniston would have a problem with it. Mel is not a “heartbreaker” and his rage spells are not “temper tantrums”. He’s a violent misogynist, a paranoid stalker, a raging alcoholic and a brutally offensive racist. This isn’t a case of, “Oh, my new boyfriend has a DUI, is that a dealbreaker?” This is a case of “His last long-term girlfriend taped his stalking, harassing phone calls in which he verbally threatened to kill her if she didn’t blow him in the Jacuzzi.” DEALBREAKER.

Over the past two years or so, Matthew Fox went kind of crazy. Not Amanda Bynes crazy, more like… Mini-Mel Gibson crazy. Fox was accused of being a violent, drunken mess in Ohio last year, and a woman claimed that he punched her in the boob, stomach and biscuit. And then just a few months ago, Fox was arrested for a DUI in his home state of Oregon. Well, Fox has done his first major interview since all of the craziness, in the November issue of Men’s Fitness. Fox is promoting Alex Cross, the reboot of the James Patterson franchise with Tyler Perry as Alex Cross and Fox playing the villain. In this interview, Matthew directly addresses the rumors, the DUI arrest, and he sort of discusses the Dominic Monaghan tweet, where Dominic said Fox “beats women regularly”.

Fox doesn’t beat women: “It’s been a long, trying year of sitting on my hands on a lot of negative sh-t said about me, when they’re the furthest things from who I am. That I beat a woman in Cleveland when in fact I was assaulted by a man and did nothing but retaliate against him? In the 46 years I’ve been breathing on this planet, I have never hit a woman before. Never have, never will. But I think there’s still gonna be a lot of people out there who’ll think it’s true no matter what the f—k I say. Out of all the negative sh-t, the only thing that’s true is that I was arrested for a DUI.”

On his DUI: “It was a stupid f—kin’ decision… I got the lowest level of alcohol informational treatment the state of Oregon will allow for first-time offenders, I did my four Sundays of group informational treatment, and who know what? I learned a f—kload from that… I will bet you any amount of money that I will never get behind the wheel of a car after even one drink.”

On Dominic Monaghan saying he beats women: “The rest of it, the Cleveland situation, the [Dominick] Monaghan situation – was a pile of bullsh-t, and I’m not gonna waste too much breath on that.”

His “unbearable” life: “There is so much you don’t have control over. I’m talking all the way from the woman in Cleveland claiming I hit her to the media picking it up and making a story out of it. From waiting in a trailer for four hours when you were ready for the shot three hours before all the way to the woman who is constantly in your face fixing makeup and wardrobe. And that, at times, is almost unbearable for me. Unbearable!”

I believed the story about Matthew being a drunken mess and punching a woman who got in his way. I believed her even if he wasn’t charged with the assault, and I tend to assume that he might have been black-out drunk when he committed the assault, so maybe that’s his “out”. He doesn’t beat women when he’s not sh-tfaced. And if I’m given a choice… I will take Dominic Monaghan’s word over Fox, any day of the week. Is that wrong?

As for the DUI stuff… he makes it sound like a dumb mistake, and I do appreciate that he says he will never get behind the wheel, even if he’s only had one drink. The problem is that I still think the dude has major issues, and only some of them are related to his drinking.

Since 2006, Mel Gibson has courted controversy at every turn.

There was his infamous DUI arrest and anti-Semitic tirade, the abuse allegations and rants against Oksana Grigorieva, and even a recent feud with Joe Eszterhas.

In a remarkably candid new interview with ComingSoon (dot) net, Mel opened up about his films and troubled past ... not that he considers it all that troubled.

Asked whether Hollywood was a forgiving town, he said:

“No it’s not. They have to forget. I don’t think they’re vindictive. I don’t think they think there’s reason to forgive. And forgive what to begin with? What are they asking for?"

"It’s almost like ''can you please forgive me'' for what? What did I do, really? It is kind of ridiculous. So it’s kind of hard to pinpoint exactly what needs to be forgiven ... I don’t consider that anything does because I didn’t hurt anyone."

"But you know, hey that’s life. It ain’t easy and it’s not fair. You’ve just got to slip the old water off the back and move on.”

The Mel Gibson rants were not addressed specifically in the interview, but when asked about his ill-fated film The Maccabees, he unloaded on Eszterhas.

The screenwriter Gibson a letter that concluded, “you hate Jews” before bowing out of the project; he also leaked an iPhone recording of Mel.

Mel, almost unprompted, shared his version of events:

“A guy gets paid to write a screenplay and doesn’t turn anything in for 14 months. That’s a serious problem. Not even an outline so I lost my nutter with him."

"I developed a Viking script almost a year after he started and I already had a second draft and he hadn’t even given me an outline."

"And he was at my home on a working holiday and he didn''t even bring one word. And he never intended to write a script. His whole intention was to set me up somehow."

"I DO want to make it [Maccabees] and I will make it. And that’ll be a great film.”
