Summer’s about to kick into overdrive, which means it’s once again time for everyone to gather ’round and predict which song will dominate and define the next couple of months on the radio.

Already, we have a boatload of contenders, ranging from the obvious (Macklemore & Ryan Lewis) to the random (Robin Thicke? What?).

But who will actually win this sucker? Check out our analysis of five major contenders, below.

Song: ‘Blurred Lines’
Artist: Robin Thicke (feat. T.I. & Pharrell)
Analysis: This song was basically DOA about a month ago; but thanks to a quick performance on The Voice last week, it’s suddenly everywhere — including in our heads. While the actual quality of the song remains in question (that falsetto? really?), you can’t deny it’s catchy. Which is a good thing if you want to win this race.
Chances of Winning: Strong (For Now)

Song: ‘Just Give Me a Reason’
Artist: P!nk (feat. Nate Ruess)
Analysis: P!nk’s latest take on adult angst has already struck a chord with music audiences; it topped the Billboard Hot 100 a couple of weeks ago, and lingered a bit longer. Like ‘Blurred Lines,’ ‘Reason’ has a catchy hook of up-and-down notes, and the collaboration between P!nk and Nate Ruess is inspired, if random. We just hope it doesn’t encourage people to pay more attention to fun.
Chances of Winning: Very Strong

Song: ‘Can’t Hold Us’
Artist: Macklemore & Ryan Lewis (feat. Ray Dalton)
Analysis: Given that we live in a world in which a Black Eyed Peas song can top the charts for months, it shouldn’t come as any surprise that ‘Can’t Hold Us,’ the latest song from Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, is doing well. But that doesn’t mean it’s any good. With a frantic beat and spastic melody, the song has the same effect as putting all of Sybil’s personalities into one room: total chaos. Which is also a good thing if you want to win this race.
Chances of Winning: Ugh. Probably, Yeah

Song: ‘#Beautiful’
Artist: Mariah Carey (feat. Miguel)
Analysis: This could actually turn out to be the song to watch. Not only is it dominated by Carey’s cohort, Miguel, it has that perfect blend of freshness and subtlety that plays perfectly on radio. Plus, it’s just a really good song.
Chances of Winning: We’ll See

Song: ‘Get Lucky’
Artist: Daft Punk
Analysis: ‘Get Lucky’ is sure to win over people who had never heard of Daft Punk before (shame on you!) but don’t expect this one to travel too far beyond the borders of Williamsburg. If anything, it feels like the song you might hear while shopping at a mall.

Nobody seemed to care about Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” when YouTube banned its music video last month for having nude models in it.

Now, though, thanks to a simple performance on The Voice Tuesday, the song is suddenly everywhere. At the very least, it’s sitting very pretty atop the iTunes Singles chart — a good position for any song to be in right now as we await the race for Song of the Summer.

Will it have enough lasting power to dominate the airwaves through August? It’s possible. The song is undeniably catchy. (Try listening to it once and not getting the “Hey, hey, hey” hook stuck in your head.) It’s also hard to tell if the song is really good or really just bad (come on, that’s Alan Thicke’s son singing), which has so often proved to be a dangerous combination.

Odds are, it’ll fall by the wayside pretty soon. (It’s a weird song.) But hey, hey, hey: You never know! Plus, are we really going to let Pink and that guy from fun. win the race?

Celebrating the hottest in digital music, The O Music Awards honor innovators in music, culture, and technology with categories like the Digital Genius Award, Fan Army FTW, Must Follow Artist on Twitter, and more.

The fourth annual ceremony will introduce five new awards, including Make a Band Famous; Next Big Scene, honoring emerging musical genres and trends; Most Inspiring Fan Outreach, honoring artists who use technology to connect with fans; Analog Genius, for the artist using outdated technology in updated ways; and the bound-to-be-fan-favorite "Friday, Friday" Award, "a salute to viral trends we wish would go away."

Nominees include Justin Bieber, Frank Ocean, Demi Lovato, Beck, Miranda Lambert, and Macklemore and Ryan Lewis. One of the more spicy prizes, Too Much A** for TV, includes music video nominees David Bowie, Sigur Ros, DIIV, Frank Ocean, and Robin Thicke.

Winners will be crowned by the fans as voting begins on Wednesday May 16th at OMusicAwards.com. Check out the O Music Awards on June 19th at 7:00pm ET.

Though his soulful falsetto may make the ladies'' clothes come off in the bedroom, Robin Thicke had that effect on a bevy of beauties in his new music video for "Blurred Lines."

In fact, the unrated version was reportedly banned from YouTube for the frequent female breast shots. Unhappy that his art was tampered with, the 36-year-old singer tweeted, "YouTube took down the Unrated version of #BLURREDLINES because it was too hot!"

In the slightly more demure version, the R&B crooner and collaborators T.I. and Pharrell frolicked with scantily clad models. The message "Robin Thicke Has A Big D" even made it into the clean edition.

Similarly disgruntled, Pharrell tweeted, "Why they trying to ban good sh*t?" Check out the video that did make it through YouTube censors below.

Ready to take a different shot at reality television, Khloe Kardashian filmed scenes for an upcoming episode of "Real Husbands of Hollywood" on Saturday (March 9).

The 28 year-old, who has already earned fame from her family''s hit show "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," looked stunning on set in thigh-high brown boots and a mini-dress as she mingled with the fellow cast and crew.

Before heading off for her day of work, Khloe took to her Twitter page, writing, "Now getting ready for a fun day of filming with some VERY funny people... Details to come soon....."
