Irina Shayk, Solange Knowles, and Maria Sharapova hit the red carpet at the 2013 Vanity Fair Oscar Party held at Sunset Tower on Sunday (February 24) in West Hollywood, Calif.

The ladies were joined at the star-studded bash by Karolina Kurkova, Kelsey Grammer and wife Kayte Walsh, Sarah Silverman, Molly Sims, Rosemarie DeWitt and Ron Livingston, Michelle Rodriguez, Judy Greer, and Rosamund Pike.

Kelsey Grammer denies that his baby rode without a carseat despite photos of it

Remember when Kelsey Grammer and his wife Kayte were widely criticized for taking their then three-month old infant to a loud party at night at the Playboy Mansion, the annual Halloween party? Kelsey issued this long defensive denial including some seemingly unnecessary details about Kate’s custom being a witch or something without a hat. Well it turns out that Kate was actually dressed as Kelsey’s ex wife, Camille Grammer of RHOBH, and Kelsey was trying to deny it.

This is all a long-winded preface to this story that Kelsey Grammer and his wife, Kayte, were photographed getting into a chauffeured car without using a carseat for their infant. (You can see those photos here) Kelsey’s denial, issued through his mouthpiece, sounds just as full of unnecessary details as his last one. He says that he did get a carseat, but that he used evasive measures so the paparazzi wouldn’t see him transport the baby safely. That makes no sense. He didn’t want them to catch him putting the baby in a seat? Since when does Kelsey avoid the paparazzi?

While leaving LAX airport with wife Kayte Grammer and 4-month-old daughter Faith on Tuesday, the family appeared to be videotaped and photographed driving off without their baby girl riding in a car seat. Kayte, 31, was snapped holding Faith on her lap in the vehicle, which would be a violation of California law.

But a rep for the actor, 57, tells E! News that baby Faith was belted in a car seat before the family left the airport.

“I am not an attorney, so I cannot [comment] on any legal aspect. I just know that the original footage that aired strongly implied that they left the airport without a car seat, which was not the case,” Grammer’s rep, Stan Rosenfield, said.

“In an attempt to avoid the paparazzi, they exited through the upper level,” he explained. “Kelsey went back in and got the car seat and met them at the car. Did the car drive a few yards without the car seat? Yes. At no time does the video show them leaving the airport with the baby not in the car seat.”

This is more BS from Kelsey as usual. When my son was little like that and we were at the airport we used to bring his carseat with us. It’s possible Kelsey had the carseat in checked luggage and they had to pick it up later, but if that was the case they would have said it like that instead of giving this complicated “avoid the paparazzi” excuse. Plus I saw photos of the driver loading the back, so they probably had luggage with them at that time, which would make sense with curbside pickup.

In related news, Kelsey’s Starz show, “Boss,” has been canceled. He probably thinks it’s because he’s a Republican, right? Also, Kelsey wants to move back into one of the mansions he and Camille are selling, which she disagrees with because she thinks she won’t be able to offload it if it’s occupied. He may be having cashflow problems now, and it’s no wonder with all the estates he owns.

Kelsey Grammer had current wife dress like ex wife Camille for Halloween: obsessed?

We’ve heard Kelsey Grammer talk about his ex wife, Camille, in just about every interview over the last year. It seems like he’s obsessed with her given how often he brings her up. Well here’s some more evidence to back that up. Kelsey’s current wife, Kayte, dressed just like Camille for their little jaunt to the Playboy Halloween party with their three month-old baby in tow. Someone mentioned this in the comment section, but I hadn’t seen the photo yet so I couldn’t judge. Now that I’ve seen the picture, above, it’s obvious why Kelsey was so adamant in his statement that his wife was dressed as a “witch” but that “her hat was missing as she had removed it because her wig was itching and it was hot.” So Kayte went as a witch with a blond curled wig and tape over her nose to indicate plastic surgery? That’s odd. It’s also obvious why he emphasized Kayte’s age and called her his “lady love.” He is one messed up man with something to prove.

Camille’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ castmates, Kyle and Kim Richards, were on Access Hollywood Live, and they confirmed the story that Kayte was dressed as Camille. I mean look at the photo, it’s obvious. Here’s what Kyle and Kim said, thanks to Radar. (Radar also has a video.)

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars went on Access Hollywood Live Wednesday morning and dished on their insider knowledge of Kayte’s costume, confirming what many thought but what the actor’s rep had denied.

When Billy Bush asked if it was true that Kayte Walsh Grammer dressed as Camille, Kyle answered “That’s what I heard.”

Kim said they weren’t at the party, but they “had friends that were there.”

Kayte was wearing a black lacy dress and a long blonde wig and Kyle described the rest of her outfit as “with a bandage across her nose.”

Firmly on Team Camille, Kyle slammed Kayte’s Halloween costume choice, saying “I mean, have a little pride.”

Well that’s a change for Kyle to defend Camille, but good for her I guess. Here’s what I want to know, what kind of doormat is Kayte for agreeing with this f*ing costume? Like that is some twisted sh*t right there, and excuse my (typed) language but it really irks me that Kelsey did this. What kind of wife agrees to something as messed up as dressing like her husband’s ex? It’s not funny to mock the woman, it’s just makes the current wife and husband look spiteful and pathetic. They’ve been looking like that for some time though. Judging from Kelsey’s Oprah interview, that’s their regular dynamic. He goes off on his ex and Kayte just eats it up and passively goes along with it. That’s probably the basis for their entire relationship.

Kelsey Grammer brings his three month old baby to night party at the Playboy mansion

Kelsey Grammer was on daddy duty over the weekend, so instead of hiring a babysitter or leaving the baby at home with her mother, Kelsey’s new wife, he went out to the Playboy mansion Halloween party and brought his three month old daughter in a bassinet with him. His new wife, the one who’s totally unlike all his previous wives and baby mamas since she’s British and had a glamorous job as a flight attendant before her current golddigger gig, was supposedly there with him, according to what his rep told The Daily Mail. TMZ makes it out like Kelsey was there alone with the baby, hunting for his next model. We’re learning about this thanks to a tweet from a Playboy model, who wondered aloud why Kelsey was at a loud party at night with his infant daughter. Here’s more, from TMZ and The Daily Mail:

You’re never too young to party in Hollywood … so says Kelsey Grammer, who took his 3-month-old baby to the Playboy Mansion for a Halloween bash and partied ’til the wee hours of the morning.

A party-goer tells us … Kelsey was whooping it up at a table next to Paris Hilton just after midnight. Baby Faith was tucked into her bassinet as the music blared.

A Playboy Playmate with curious maternal instincts tweeted, “Why the fk does Kelsey Grammer have a newborn baby at the Mansion party!?!?!?” – From TMZ

A spokesperson for Kelsey told Mail Online today: ‘I am not sure why this is a story. People have taken their infant children out with them since the beginning of time.

Kelsey and Kayte don’t have a nanny, he talked about it when he was doing his big press tour in August. So was Kayte really there? I’m thinking she wasn’t and that this is a half-assed attempt by Kelsey’s rep to save face.

In response to this, Kelsey’s ex Camille tweeted “OMG This can not be true!” Last week she gave a very reserved statement about all the crap Kelsey was talking about her for months. She said “He went on this negativity tour 2012 recently, over the last few months, and it hurts you know.” After seeing season one of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, who would have thought that Camille would end up being the classy one in this divorce?

Here are some photos of Kelsey stumping for Romney in Nevada over the weekend, along with Jon Voight and his former co-star, John Ratzenberger. I wonder if he tried to pick up any young Republicans at this event. “My wife doesn’t understand me, she’s British.” You know it’s just a matter of time.

Kelsey Grammer on making Camille go to the Tonys: ‘I was trying to give her that moment’

I’m starting to believe that Kelsey Grammer is obsessed with his ex-wife, Camille. That would explain why he talks about her in every single interview and continues to go over the details of their split over two and a half years ago. The guy needs to move on, but he’s harping on it for whatever reason: a psychological need, an urge for publicity or maybe an annoying combination of both.

Anyway Kelsey was a guest on The Anderson Cooper show recently and his full interview airs today. He got talking about his favorite subject, Camille, and instead of apologizing to Camille for making her go to the Tony Awards with him before he broke up with her unceremoniously, after his mistress had been living with him for several months, he made it sound like he was doing her a favor. He did admit he made a mistake, but he never said Camille’s name and he apologized to his mistress more than to Camille. Here are some details from the interview:

Anderson: I’ve got to ask you one question and I don’t want to dwell on this but I was a big Real Housewives watcher. Did you ever regret any of those scenes you were in? Because some of them were very awkward like when Camille went and visited you backstage there was this really awkward scene and I felt for you in that scene. I wondered if that was one of those things, you know what I regret the cameras being there.
Kelsey: Yeah, yeah. Oh sure. Well thanks. I was trying to pretend things were normal for the sake of letting her have that moment for the sake of somehow letting her have that moment. It was just ill advised. It was the wrong decision and I should have come home from England when I first met Kayte and just said, ‘Listen I’ve met somebody and this hasn’t been working for a long time.’ I regret not doing that. I thought I could do something nice, some parting thing and so it was very painful and uncomfortable. It was uncomfortable for Kayte, it was uncomfortable for all of us.

Anderson: Is there anything you’ve done in your life that you now look back on and regret? That was one of the Twitter questions.
Kelsey: Ooh, boy. There is a ton of things actually that I do regret but I can’t spend my life apologizing. There are several things I regret. I regret that I didn’t spend more time with my daughter Greer. I regret that I didn’t tell Kayte I love her as often as I should but I’m still working on it so it’s okay. We make mistakes in life hopefully with people that know how to forgive. There is an old Chekhov saying, since we are forgiven it’s foolish if you can not forgive.

Kelsey bugs me so much with his excuses and justifications, but at least he knows on some level that what he did was wrong. He’ll probably never grasp what a total a-hole he was, since he continues to be one.

The Anderson Cooper show sent us more details from Kelsey’s interview, and there’s a real gem when he discusses the tattoo of his new wife’s name, Kayte, he got on his hip. He admitted it was Kayte’s idea (which he’s said before) but as for whether Kayte would ever get Kelsey’s name tattooed on her body, Kelsey only said “she’s thinking about it now,” and that “she wants to a white one that’s sort of clear, very subtle.” Do you think this golddigger has a whole game plan worked out and that she’s going to dump Kelsey in a couple of years? I do, at least I’m hoping.

Update: Camille has responded to this, and to the many other recent interviews Kelsey has done about her. She’s shown at lot of restraint in my opinion. She told Radar:

“Kelsey and I shared a life together and have two beautiful children together, and I just wish he would stop the constant barrage of negativity towards me as it’s bad for our children and our respective families. I would hope that Kelsey would say something positive about our life together, so we can be amicable. I have absolutely no ill will towards Kelsey, I keep focused on what is ahead and I don’t look back. I have happy memories about my time with Kelsey, yes, there were sad times, but I focus on the positive times for the sake of our children. I’m just not a negative person.”
