It was just announced that the 30-year-old actress’ upcoming movie musical Into the Woods will be released in theaters on December 25, 2014. We surely know what we are doing on Christmas Day next year!

Into the Woods follows a witch (Meryl Streep) who conspires to teach important lessons to various characters of popular children’s stories including Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Rapunzel.

It’s game day, hockey fans.

The Boston Bruins will face the Chicago Blackhawks in Game 1 of the 2013 NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs on Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET in Chicago, kicking off the final push for the holy grail of hockey.

You can bet your hockey pads and stick tape that John Krasinski and the dudes from New Kids on the Block will put on their black, yellow and white, while Vince Vaughn and Chris O’Donnell will be cheering for their team in the home color of red.

Mick Jagger, who’s playing at the TD Garden with The Rolling Stones on the same night while Bruins are on the road, posted his support for the local team via Twitter.

“Hi there, Good luck! Mick #Bruins #becauseofthecup #Stones50,” the 69-year-old rocker wrote.

Kicking off the week with some philanthropic goodness, some of Tinseltown’s famous folks showed up at the 7th Annual “Freeing Voices, Changing Lives” benefit gala in New York City last night (June 3).

Hollywood hunks like Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson got all gussied up for the affair, held at Tribeca Rooftop in Manhattan’s trendy Tribeca neighborhood.

Also in the house was John Krasinski along with his gorgeous wife Emily Blunt, who told press she has a special connection to the Freeing Voices, Changing Lives organization given that she used to suffer from stammering and stuttering.

Blunt explained, “I wish to God I''d known about them as a kid, because I maybe would have avoided eight to nine years of it not being an easy time. Between the age of 7 and 14 was when it was really bad. And around 12 it was at its worst. Not an awkward age at all to be unable to speak.”

Emily credits an “amazing voice teacher” with helping her overcome her speech impediment. “[But] I couldn''t talk. He said, ‘Well, why don''t you try it in a different voice? Try to do a funny voice or an accent. Maybe that would help.’ But it really did, I was actually able to speak fluently. Once you''re able to hear yourself speak fluently, albeit in a ridiculous accent, you gain the confidence to think this could happen again and again. It was easier after that night, of that school play. It all became a bit easier.”

Now that The Office has come to an end after nine seasons, John Krasinski will have plenty of time on his hands.

And we’re thinking he’ll take advantage of the long-awaited hiatus with wife Emily Blunt by enjoying the celebrity high life at their stunning $2.15 million vacation property in the foothills of Ojai, Calif. that the cute husband and wife bought in June 2012.

The stately manor, once home to the historic Ojai Foothills Hotel circa 1903, is located just an hour and a half north of Los Angeles, and has an antique feel but comes with very cool modern amenities. The 4,100 square-foot eco-friendly estate has 4 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, 4 fireplaces, remodeled kitchen, high ceilings, hardwood floors, and it’s own nanny wing.

Their traditional holiday home is actually in stark contrast to the couple’s Mid-Century Hollywood Hills pad that Krasinski, 33, and Blunt, 30, purchased for a cool $1.85 million just after they tied the knot in 2010.

Located above the famed Chateau Marmont, the over 2,000 square-foot abode has 5 bedrooms, large open living spaces, state-of-the-art kitchen and library. The living room has a cozy fireplace that overlooks a large private swimmers pool and guest house, while upstairs you’ll find the master suite with fireplace, steam shower, media room and gym.

The 33-year-old actor recently spoke with Parade about The Office series finale.

“The show gave me everything. I was a waiter before I got it, and it’s given me every opportunity,” John said. “I wouldn’t have met my wife [Emily Blunt] if it wasn’t for the show because I wouldn’t be in L.A. being an actor. There’s so much that this show has given me that it will forever be the defining thing in my career no matter what, and I’m really proud of that.”
