Joshua Jackson: 'Fringe' Panel at Comic-Con 2012!

Joshua Jackson flashes a smile at the Fringe panel during 2012 Comic-Con held at the San Diego Convention Center on Sunday (July 15) in California.

The 34-year-old actor was joined on stage by his co-stars Anna Torv, John Noble, Jasika Nicole, and Lance Reddick.

“Everyone was kind of happily surprised – we were on the razor’s edge this year,” Josh commented on the waiting to hear if the series would be renewed.

NASCAR Corpse: Michigan Woman Admits Watching Racing on TV With Dead Companion For Months

In bizarre news out of Southern Michigan, Linda Chase told authorities that she watched NASCAR with her dead companion, Charles Zigler, for MONTHS.

All the while cashing his benefit checks.

Yeah, she''ll be going to prison for a LONG time, though she insists she kept the "NASCAR corpse" around for only a few months, not a year as police allege.

Jackson, Mich., police last week found the remains of Charles Zigler in a chair in the living room. Officials believe the 67-year-old died in December ... 2010.

Chase, 72, says it was only a few months ago, however, and that she had no role in his death. Zeigler "just fell asleep," she says. Makes perfect sense then.

Linda says she kept the body clean and dressed and talked to it while watching NASCAR on TV. "I didn''t want to be alone," she explained. Obviously.

"I''m probably going to prison," she told her local newspaper, apparently resigned to her fate. "But I told [police] the truth. I didn''t lie about anything."

Adam Lambert to Judge American Idol Season 12?

Jennifer Lopez might be out - and a former fan favorite could be in.

With rumors once again swirling around the exit of J. Lo, and with the contracts of all three American Idol judges up, E! News quotes an insider who says Adam Lambert is under consideration as a Season 12 judge.

"They have been talking about Adam for over a month," this Idol insider claims. "He personifies the show, and will be a popular choice right from the start. He knows what it''s like to be on the receiving end of the judges'' comments, he has a human touch, and they know they can''t go wrong if they bring him on. He would be able to bring a unique perspective to the show. People love him."

American Idol is coming off a disappointing season, ratings-wise, and the source adds that Randy Jackson and Steve Tyler aren''t necessarily guaranteed to return, either. The Aerosmith singer''s plans are "up in the air," while:

"Randy is great, but he''s part of the old Idol. They want to keep the soul of the show but have a new look, and for that reason he may well not be part of the new line up."
