Taking care of some last-minute details, Mark Wahlberg and Denzel Washington were busy on the set of their new flick “2 Guns” in Los Angeles last night (May 16).

The “Boogie Nights” hunk and his “American Gangster” partner-in-crime looked intense as they filmed some re-shoots at an outdoor location while shutterbugs looked on.

During a recent interview, Mark confessed that in spite of his massive success he still wishes he would’ve graduated high school. Last month he visited TC Williams School to offer guidance.

Wahlberg shared, "One of the big regrets in my life is that I didn''t finish school. I quit when I was in the ninth grade... I didn''t have too many people to look up to so the key for me to really make an impact was just to speak to [high schoolers] directly — tell them about my story."

In anticipation of one of the summer''s hottest award shows, BET announced its nominees for the 2013 BET Awards on Tuesday (May 14).

Taking place at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on June 30th, the annual event celebrates African-American and other minority achievement in music, acting, sports, and entertainment.

This year''s show will be hosted by Chris Tucker while Chris Brown was recently confirmed to perform. At the ceremony, Drake hopes to bring home a record number of prizes with 12 nominations.

The day before, Mark were spotted doing some shopping at Bristol Farms in Beverly Hills.

“Mark could pound chicken very good. He ate nine meals a day, he gained 40 pounds, he’s like a machine. He told me, ‘Week two is going to be my peak so get all your beauty shots week two, week three, ’cause then I got to lose 40 pounds and go on a Denzel movie next,’” Pain & Gain director Michael Bay recently shared.

Posing with a truckload of cash, Mark Wahlberg and Denzel Washington attended the "2 Guns" photo call at the 5th Annual Summer Of Sony at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Cancun, Mexico on Saturday (April 20).

The "Boogie Nights" star wore a blue polo shirt and dark jeans while he struck some tough poses alongside the "Flight" stud, who chose a simple black T-shirt and jeans.

Directed by Baltasar Kormákur, the action flick follows a DEA agent and an undercover Naval Intelligence officer who have been tasked with investigating one another, and find they have been set up by the mob -- the very organization the two men believe they have been stealing money from.

Joining the handsome pair in the film are Paula Patton, James Marsden, Bill Paxton, and Edward James Olmos. "2 Guns" hits theaters on August 2nd.

They’re both major stars in their own right, and Mark Wahlberg and Denzel Washington are teaming up for some serious action in “2 Guns.”

A new teaser trailer for the upcoming thriller has just been released ahead of the flick’s August 2nd, 2013 release date.

Per the synopsis, “A DEA agent and an undercover Naval Intelligence officer who have been tasked with investigating one another find they have been set up by the mob -- the very organization the two men believe they have been stealing money from.”

Along with Mark and Denzel, “2 Guns” also features names like Edward James Olmos and Bill Paxton, all under the direction of “Contraband” helmsman Baltasar Kormakur.

Mark Wahlberg and Denzel Washington duke it out — and quickly team up — in their new action comedy 2 Guns.

On Friday, the film unleashed its first full-length trailer, featuring plenty of muscle action, car scenes and smart talk.

After finding out that they both work for the government (Walhberg’s a Naval Intelligence Officer while Washington’s from the DEA), the agents disguised as robbers begin a hunt for the bad guys.

“The bank was a set up, we’ve got to figure out whose money that was,” Washington’s character says at one point.

“Well what, like we’re working together?” a jolly Wahlberg says.

“No, like we’re working in the same vicinity . . . in the same area code,” his new partner replies.

2 Guns, directed by Baltasar Kormakur, also stars Paula Patton, James Marsden, Bill Paxton and Edward James Olmos.

The film opens in theaters Aug. 2.
