This week started with the top 10 finalists on The Voice and tonight (May 21) the competition was narrowed down to the top eight during the results show!

Each veteran coach – Adam Levine and Blake Shelton – went into the final rounds with three contestants. The new coaches – Shakira and Usher – started this week with two contestants.

On Team Adam we have Amber Carrington, Judith Hill, and Sarah Simmons. On Team Blake we have Danielle Bradbery, Holly Tucker, and The Swon Brothers. On Team Shakira we have Kris Thomas, and Sasha Allen. Finally, on Team Usher we have Josiah Hawley and Michelle Chamuel.

Though the news that they would not appear on Season 5 saddened fans, Usher and Shakira promise they''ll be back the next year.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the pair will make their triumphant return to the singing competition series for the sixth season.

In their place for season five in the fall, Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green will retake their former places in the familiar red chairs.

Keeping some consistency to the hit show, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and Carson Daly are expected to stick around for both upcoming seasons.

Team Shakira lost Garrett Gardner while Team Usher lost Vedo.

Exemplifying the spirit of the event itself, Lily Aldridge, Adriana Lima, and Behati Prinsloo attended the Victoria''s Secret Angels 8th Annual 2013 What Is Sexy? List at Shutters On The Beach in Santa Monica on Tuesday (May 14).

The now ex-girlfriend of Adam Levine was all smiles in a short form-fitting white and blue dress with black heeled sandals while her 27-year-old fellow Angel also opted for a short dress, though hers was pale blue and exposed a bit of her trim abdomen. Choosing a long low-cut fuchsia gown with a slit up the leg was the brunette Brazilian beauty.

This year''s list includes some of today''s hottest stars with Jessica Chastain nabbing Sexiest Actress, Beyonce earning Sexiest Songstress, and Rihanna coming home with Sexiest Bikini Body.

Demonstrating that sexiness is more than just looks, Sexiest Sense of Humor went to Jennifer Lawrence and Giuliana Rancic was dubbed Sexiest Mom.

Taking care of her reality show duties, Shakira showed up at a special live performance event celebrating the Top 12 artists on “The Voice” last night (May 8).

The “Hips Don’t Lie” lady joined Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and Usher on stage for an amazing set, looking cool and confident as she sang her heart out.

Meanwhile, Shakira has been dealing with the struggle of getting back into her pre-baby shape, all the while trying to take care of her myriad career obligations.

She explained, “It’s part of motherhood, you know. You got to figure it out as you go,” adding "I still have a long way to go. I still have a few pounds over to lose. I look decent."

As for her son Milan, Shakira noted, “He’s great. He’s so mellow, but he’s very alert, too. It’s like he knows what’s going on around him. He knows when someone comes in the room or comes out. He’s something.”

Adam Levine and Shakira are all smiles while making an appearance on Extra to promote their show The Voice on Monday (May 6) at The Grove in Los Angeles.

The 33-year-old Maroon 5 frontman and Shakira, 36, were joined by their fellow coaches Usher, Blake Shelton, and host Carson Daly as they were interviewed by Mario Lopez.

On the same day, Adam attended the 2013 George Lopez Celebrity Golf Classic at the Lakeside Golf Club in Burbank.

Anne V plants a kiss on Behati Prinsloo at super hairstylist Harry Josh‘s first annual #HarrysParty on Saturday (May 4) held at The Jane Hotel in New York City.

The supermodels, both of whom dated Adam Levine in the past, were joined by a number of other stars, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Hilary Rhoda, and Will Forte.
